Dr Rao holds a double master’s degree in HRM, Business Management, and Doctorate in Employee Retention. He has 37 years of experience in HR, IR, business strategies and administrative functions with manufacturing and service industries. His net worth is his network. He is very strong in managing and integrating people, creating vibrant productive work culture with no industrial unrest. He was also recipient of Best management award from Government of AP and also many awards from various organizations for his outstanding contribution to the industry. His recent employment was with a German MNC, Voith Turbo Pvt Limited as Vice president HR & Admin and an apex member of VT India management. He delivered services with country wide responsibility of all its business units.

Dr Rao is a dynamic and motivated professional with a proven track record of generating and building relationships, particularly managing HR projects from concept to completion, designing hiring strategies, providing business strategic solutions and coaching individuals to get aligned with organization needs. Also proficient in managing cross-functional teams by demonstrating exceptional communication skills and making critical decisions during challenges. Adaptable and transformational leader with an ability to work independently to develop opportunities in order to accelerate the growth of industry. He is a strong leader with abundant energy, can adapt to situation and create possibilities for an organization. His decisiveness is his hall mark. There is no single strike or lockout during the entire tenure though he has completed more than 13 wage agreements (productivity linked) and bonus settlements in the entire career with multiple unions. He drove multiple key acquisitions and organizational changes. Dr Rao is a regular speaker at various HR forums and academic institutions. He is also former council member of CII, Telangana.
