Trade unions and managing healthy relations is a dynamic social process which denotes the relationship between employers and workers union. Key objective is to ensure harmonious relations between them and minimize industrial conflicts. Nexus undertakes the responsibility to advice right solutions by participating in the negotiations, settlements on the differences like wage agreements, bonus settlements, relocation, downsizing, disciplinary subjects and its quick resolution in order to foster a positive and productive work environment. Nexus also undertakes the task of resolving external pressures against management.
Establishing Dialogue
· Open communication channels between management, employees, and union representatives.
· Organizing regular meetings, forums, and discussions to address concerns and grievances.
Understanding Grievances
· Conduct thorough investigations to understand the root causes of grievances, conflicts and unrest within the workforce.
· Establish mechanisms for employees to express their concerns and provide feedback anonymously if necessary.
Negotiation and Collective Bargaining
· Engage in negotiations with union representatives to reach mutually acceptable agreements.
· Consider the interests and needs of both parties while negotiating terms related to wages, benefits, working conditions, and other relevant issues.
Conflict Resolution
· Implement effective conflict resolution strategies to address disputes and disagreements. Ensuring the environment for smoothly conclusion of conflicts without effecting strike or lockout.
· Mediation and arbitration will be the key instruments to resolve conflicts and prevent escalation and Nexus undertakes this responsibility.
